Remove metadata from a photo

Strip GPS, camera details and timestamps out of a photo before you share it. Runs in this browser. The photo is never uploaded, and the pixels are never re-encoded.

Why do this in the browser?

Every other online metadata remover uploads your photo (the one with the location you're trying to remove) to a server first. The best of them promise to delete it within 24 hours. That's a promise you have to trust.

Here there's nothing to delete, because nothing is sent. Check it yourself: DevTools → Network → drop a photo. No request carries your image. Or load this page, go offline, and watch it keep working.
